the Big Country and Stephens Processing's newest location in Albany, Texas. Stephens Wild Game Processing and Smokehouse has processed over 129,000 head of wild game over the
past 42 years in its combined facilities. The Abilene location's 10,400 sq.ft. facility easily
meets
the
ever
increasing
issue
of food
safety as wild game is processed in a 2400 sq. ft. refrigerated
cutting
room with an additional 2000 sq.ft. freezer room. Stephens Processing and Smoke House offers
processing of all wild game: whitetail, mule deer, axis, elk, sika, wild hogs,
and buffalo. |

Stephens Wild Game Processing and Smoke House along with its affliate facilities feature
state of the art equipment for the making of wild game meats, jerkys,
and sausages that have become
so popular. More than 4000 deer, elk, and hogs are processed each year
with emphasis being placed on the quality and safety of the processing
procedure over the quantity of animals being processed. Specialties
include our German style sausages such as regular, chipotle jack, bratwurst, jalapeno cheese. Our popular summer sausages include regular, chipotle jack and jalapeno cheese. We also make wonderful Cajun style and peppered jerkies along with our specially prepared fajita meat which top out our menu. All meats are always
vacuum packed with no extra charge for tenderizing. |
